2019 ELMWOOD CEMETERY FALL CLEANUP ANNOUNCEMENT

Fall is in the air and the snow will soon be here.  That means it’s getting closer to fall cleanup time.  We are asking all residents to please make an effort to remove all summer adornments from the grave sites to allow for fall cleanup to begin.  We will not begin cleanup prior to October 14, 2019.  This should be an adequate time allowed for the removal of all personal property from the cemetery.  Please remember our leaf blowers and mowers have a tendency to blow items left on the grave site.  We will not guarantee that any items left on the grave sites will not be disposed of.  Residents will be able to place winter adornments starting November 4, 2019.  The City would like to thank all residents for their understanding and cooperation during the fall cleanup process.  Please contact Gary Stambersky, Cemetery Director, with questions or concerns in regards to the fall cleanup activities at City Hall (989) 348-2131.
