Public Hearing Notice

City of Grayling – Zoning Ordinance Amendments

 The City of Grayling Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to recommend adoption of Zoning Ordinance Amendments #2 and #3 of 2023.  The public hearing will be held at the Grayling City Offices at 1020 City Boulevard, Grayling Michigan on April 18th, 2023, at 6:00 pm. The full text of the amendments is available at the Grayling City Offices or by contacting Ben Yoder at 989-348-2131. Written comments may be sent to Ben Yoder at 1020 City Boulevard, Grayling, MI 49738 prior to the public hearing. The public may appear at the public hearing in person or by counsel. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services at the meeting should contact The Grayling City Office at 989-348-2131 seven days prior to the meeting.

 A summary of the amendments follows:

 Ordinance #2 of 2023: Amend Section 4.11.2 (C-3B: General Commercial-South Town District) to allow Medical Marihuana facilities and adult use Marihuana establishments as a SPECIAL USE.

 Ordinance #3 of 2023:  Amend Section 4.13.2 (I: General Industrial District) to allow Medical Marihuana facilities and adult use Marihuana establishments as a SPECIAL USE.
