AuSable River Festival & Canoe Marathon has been Cancelled

Yesterday, a meeting was held between local authorities, emergency management, AuSable River Festival officials, and Marathon committee members. After a long discussion, the decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Consumers Energy AuSable River Canoe Marathon and AuSable River Festival. We are saddened to make this announcement; however, feel this is in the best interest, in terms of health and safety, of all parties involved during these unprecedented times.
We would like to thank our sponsors and local businesses for their continued support. Without them, we would not be able to put on such a successful race year after year.
We would like to thank our paddlers and fans for their dedication and commitment towards the Marathon. We are amazed by their passion and growing presence each year.
With this, the Marathon committee looks forward to making the 2021 Consumers Energy AuSable River Canoe Marathon the best one yet.
